=80/100 = 8/10

Probability of B, speaking the truth, P(B)=60 %
=60/100 = 6/10

ere both A and B are independent of each other ,

So the probability that they tell the truth at the same time is P(A intersection B)

= P(A) * P(B)

= 8/10 * 6/10

= 48/100

= 0.48
