qn not clear
n=3 => W=3,M=3 & m=4 => W=4,M=4
if they shook hands with same people then total= 4+4=8
if they shook hands with differ people then total = 3+3+4+4= 14
for 2nd case 9+9=18 or 8*2+9*2=34
is there option for this?

600/24=25, max 25 rs/tea
24*25=600
24*24+24=600 => minm 24.1 rs/tea(let)

1000/15=66.66 , max 66.66 rs/coffee
65*15+25=1000
64*15+40=1000
63*15+55=1000
62*15+70=1000
62.5*15+62.5=1000 => minm 62.6 rs/coffee

so 8*24.1+y*62.6=2200 => y= 32.-- => maxm 32 cup of coffees

For Rs. 600 Mr.X can buy a maximum of 24 cups of tea (some money may be left)

Therefore for 8 cups of tea he requires a maximum Rs 200 (Even less then 200)

For remaining 2000(or more) he can buy atleast 30 cups of coffee and may be an extra

cup of coffee with the left money.

So, the answer can be 31.

odds in favour of his winning the game are 3 to 2
so p=3/(3+2)=3/5=M/(M+N) => M:N=3:2

is it right???
