If 34 men completed 2/5th of a work in 8 days working 9 hours a day.
How many more man should be engaged to finish the rest of the work in 6 days
working 9 hours a day? please suggest step for solving equation

34 extra men should be engaged to complete the rest job in 6 days..
you may follow ratio rule for the quick answer..
(3/5)*(5/2*(8/6)*(9/9)*34= 34*2 =68
already engaged men=34
extra needed men=68-34 =34(its a shortcut and quick approach to solve almost all qsns of time and work)

If it is a campus placement, infosys will go through only two rounds in its selection process. 1. written test 2. Technical&HR interview. If you can clear written test your placement in infosys is 90% done.

ibm second round questions wil be mainly in document writing and formal letter writing u need to search different steps for writing them.u wil be asked bits on them and also punctuations,enclosures,subject verb agreement,capitalization of words..

A can do in 6 day and B can do in 8 and C can do in 12 days
but b left after working for 6 days for how many no of day A and C shluld work

work completed by b in 6 days is = 6/8, remaining work left is 1/4
a+c combined work = 3/12=1/4 , so a+c requires 1 day to complete the work
