The "m4maths" score is obtained by dividing by 10, the sum of top 50 individual scores that you earn while answering the questions from the "Today's Puzzle" section.
Below is an explanation with example:
Suppose you answered 100 questions each carrying 15 marks. So the sum of top 50 questions will b 750. Now we divide this value by 10 and that will be your "m4maths" score that is 75.
Also, your "m4maths" score does not depend on only the number of questions that you answer but also the score that you obtain while answering the questions. Below is another example explaining the scenario.
Suppose you solve 60 questions. Out of which, 30 gave you 20 marks/question and remaining gave you 15 for each question. In such a case, your total will be 900 (30*20 + 20*15). So now you "m4maths" score will be 900/10 that is 90.
There is something I don't understand about algebra: It has been around for thousands of years, yet no one has ever found out what the value of "x" or "y" really is.
Richard van der Merwe
In mathematics the art of proposing a question must be held of higher value than solving it.
