If v be the velocity of a particle moving along a straight line at time t, then the retardation of the particle at that time is kv^(n+1), where k is constant. if u be the initial velocity, x distance described in time t, then show, (n-1)kx=v^(1-n) - u^(1-n)

The first passenger can go to any of the 8 floors.
