P can do a work in 19 days. Q can do the same work in 9.5 days and R can do the same in 28.5 days. Q and R start the work and leave after 3 days. P finishes the remaining work in X days. What is the value of X?

Amount of work done by Q and R in 3 days = 3*(1/9.5 + 1/28.5) = 3*4/28.5 = 3*8/57 = 8/19
Amount of work remaining after 3 days = 11/19

Amount of work done by P in 1 day = 1/19
So for 1/19 work P takes 1 day
Hence for 11/19 work P would take (1/(1/19))*11/19 = 11 days

P,Q,R can do in 19,19/2,57/2 days respectively.
If Q&R worked together= 2/19 + 2/57 =(6+2)/57 =8/57
If they together worked in 3days=(8/57)*3= 8/19
Remaining=11/19
P can completes=(11/19)/(1/19)=11

3 day's work of Q+R = 3(2/19 + 2/57) = 8/19

so in 1 day both Q&R together performed = (1/9.5 + 1/28.5) = 40/285 part of work
so in 3 days the work performed by these two is = (40/95)
now A can do (1/19) part of work in 1 day
so remaining work (1-40/95 = 55/95) will be done by A in 55/95*19 = 11 days which is the value of X

so lcm is 57
P can do 3 units per day
Q can do 6 units per day
R can do 2 units per day
total efficiency of Q &R is 8
If they work for 3 days they will complete 24 units

In 3 days Q and R will do
=3*((1/9.5)+(1/28.5))
= .421
Therefore, work left= 1-0.421
=.579
P does 1/19 work in one day.. To complete .579 work P will need .579*19=11 days.
