Dear Users,

There was a mistake in the answer of 3rd March 2017 Puzzle. (6,6,1) was missed out from the list of positive outcomes.
Correct answer is: Option 2) 7/72

Marks has been provide to all the users who have selected Option 2) as the answer.

Mrs Goodsworthy has 6 gorgeous hats. 3 are green, 2 are blue, and 1 is canary yellow.

Four of her friends, Janet, Collette, Melanie, and Judith have come for tea and are trying on her hats. Mrs. Goodsworthy helps each friend put on a hat and has them stand in a line as shown below.

None of the ladies can see what color hat she is wearing.
Janet can see the colors of the hats Collette, Melanie, and Judith are wearing.
Collette can see the colors of the hats Melanie and Judith are wearing.
Melanie can see the color of the hat that Judith is wearing.
Judith cannot see the color of any of the hats.

Mrs. Goodsworthy asks her friends what color hat each of them is wearing, and Janet says she can't tell. Collette says she isn't able to tell either, and Melanie says she can't tell.

Judith, on the other hand, is able to announce the color of her hat. How was Judith able to figure out the color of her hat, and what was the color?

In the Suniti Building in Mumbai there are 12 floors plus the ground floor.9 people get into the lift of the building on the ground floor.The lift does not stop on the first floor.If 2,3 and 4 people alight from the lift on its upward journey,then in how many ways can they do so?(Assume they alight on different floors)

Let the acid and water is = x,y
If 1 litre of water added acid:water= x:(y+1)=20:80-->4x=y+1
If 1 litre of acid added their ratio is (x+1):y=1:3 --> 3x+3=y=4x-1--->x=4,y=15
Acid=4litres
Water=15litres

20 years ago the age of Navya is 12 times more than Nitya. The present age of Navya is twice the age of Nitya. So what is the age of Nitya at present?

Explanation:- Let us assume Navya's present age is A
Nitya's present age is B
But now A = 2B -----> Equ1
Before 20 years back the ages are
A - 20 = 12(B - 20)
PUT A = 2B then
2B - 20 = 12B - 240
12B - 2B = -20 + 240
10B = 220
B = 22 years.

So present age of Navya is 22years.

JDear Admin
Kindly note that ín yeserday i. e on 14-2-17 puzzle answer was given as 1 54.5%.
In the solution you have wrongly calculated % profit.
It should be calculated on Cost Price which is 100.
Kindly note that %of profit or loss can be calculated on cost price only.
Why because cost price cannot be changed where as selling price can be changed.
Kindly note and rectify the answer.

As per admin this week there would not be any daily questions due to server update.
