first we have 50 litres of pure milk which cost is 16 rs...so total price is 800 rs.
2nd step :
now we are adding water to milk so total litres are(10litres water + 50 litres milk) = 60 litres but price is same.
step 3 :
800 rs and 60 litres so divide 800/60 = 13.33 rs...
answer is b.Rs 13.33

ans=9/5.
Let sinA=x,cosA=y
Then,3x+4y=5
Also we know that sin^2(A)+cos^(A)=1 =>> x^2 + y^2 = 1.
By solving these two equations,we get x=3/5,y=4/5.
this means sinA=3/5 & cosA=4/5.
hence required result= 4cosA-3sinA=4*4/5 - 3*3/5 = 7/5

ii) Let 3sin(A) + 4cos(A) = x, the value of which needs to be found out.

iii) Squaring the first one it is, 9cos²A + 16sin²A + 24cos(A)sin(A) = 25
Similarly squaring the second one, 9sin²A + 16cos²A - 24cos(A)sin(A) = x²

Adding both, 9 + 16 = 25 + x² [Since by identity, sin²A + cos²A = 1]

==> x² = 0
So x = 0

Thus 3sin(A) + 4cos(A) = 0

if we convert 51 to binary answer is 110011..so answer is in 6 digits ....if we apply all 1 than ans is 63 than after 1 match for final...

If the given word's letters are written in alphabetical order and letters are shuffled in alphabetical order like in dictionary then rank of word is the position of word from first

Here the concept of permutation is required

With first letter as A,find no. Of words
Then C,E until you reach letter M

Then with first letter as M,continue for second letter in alphabetical order.

Then for 3rd,4th and so until u get the full word.

check ur answer's option, in unit place there r 3,6 and 9
if u tak 3 in unit place then N=1 and then value of N in tens place is not equal to N(2,3,9) so N=1 is not possible.
then take N=2 it wll give u E=6 n if u check the tens place the value of N=2 is there.
now take O=4 it will give u 12 carry 1 then the value of N=2 is satisfied and the value of U=3(4+4+4=12+1=13) 1 came form pervious iteration carry 1.
now check the last iteration ( N+S+M=J ) u know N=2 n u have 1 carry from previous iteration then the value of S and M may be (1 and 5) or vice-versa(5 or 1) choices is ur's then u'll get the value of J=9.

In an exam 5% applicants were ineligible and 85% belonged to A category. If 4275 eligible belong to other categories, how many applied?

100-(5+85)= 10% of total applicants = 4275

so, total candidates applied = 100% = 42750

There was a ques in quant section of elitmus paper on 22nd dec.,2013.The ques was a person travells always a certain distance with a constant speed 'v' km/hr in 't' hrs. But 1 day he travelled with speed 'v' km/hr for 30 km and reduced his speed to '2v/5' km/hr for rest of the journey and reached the destination 45 minutes late. But his cousin thought that he travelled with 'v' km/hr for 'x' km(value of x was given in the paper, i can't recall that value) and reduced his speed to some value for rest of the journey, for which he would have reached 30 minutes late. What is the value of 'v'? If anyone solved that question, please tell me its answer.
