With 10% discount on 400 , the Selling price=360
If 12% profit is earned on 360, the Cost price=360*100/112 =321.42

What Su of money will accumulate to rs5300 at 8% rate if interest in 9months
Reply Like? Yes (2) | No
kishore   10 years ago
Rs/.88333.33
as 8 % annum means for 1 month it is 8/12 % interest rate
so 5300 = 8*9*P/(100*12)
P = 88333.33

divya   10 years ago
left side 10
right side 2 fewer
left the last seat
so at right 9*3=27
at left 2 fewer means less than 2 seat so its 1 seat at right so 1*3=3
now the last seat at right holds 1*5=5
so the ans is 35

9 seats are for 3 people capacity(9*3)=27
and right side also(2*3)=6
last seat capacity =5
=>27+6+5
=>38

Ajit Dash   10 years ago
In left: 10*3=30
In right: 2 fewer seat i.e. no of seat in right = 12
So in right 12*3=36
In last seat 5 people can seat.
so total people= 30+36+5= 71

Hence answer should be 71

right side 3 people can sit.. excluding last row 9*3-=27
last seat capacity 5... 3 in right..left has 2 cases

if 1 on lef with middle seat pathgap
1*7=7
if 2 on left without path gap
2*7=14

either (27+5+7=39) or (27+5+14=46)

ashutosh tiwari   10 years ago
in left:9*3=27
in right:7*3=21
because 2 fewer seats means 2 less than that of
left side seats so there will be 8 seats in right side
last seat is common for both the sides so
no of seats in left side=9
no of seats in right side=7
so excluding last seat total people can sit = 27+21=48
last seat capacity= 5
so total = 48+5=53
53 should be the right ans

total number of seats in a bus is 35 .... by logically speaking last seat is common for both left and right side which contain 5 sit (2 seats are excluded now)..remaining 10 seat hold 30 sit thus totally 35 sits... i think so .. if wrong sorry.
