A closed cylindrical tank contains 36 pie cubic feet of water and it’s filled to half its capacity. When the tank is placed upright on its circular base on level ground, the height of water in the tank is 4 feet. When the tank is placed on its side on level ground, what is the height, in feet, of the surface of the water above the ground?

36 pie is half capacity..hence 72 pie is full.
hence 1/3*pie*r*r*h=72 hence here h will be 8 unit.& then r will be 3 unit.
in side ways for half capacity radius will be required height.

longitudinal difference=70W-10E=80
means destination is 80 degree West from start point
time difference=4min*longitudinal diff =4*80=320 min
for linear distance it reach at 2am+10 hr=12pm
but here 12pm - 320 min = 6.40 am

1) all the faces of a cube with 8 meter edge are painted red.if the cube is cut into smaller cubes of 2 meter edge, how many of the 2 meter cubes have paint exactly on one face?

6 faces in cube..the cube is cut into smaller cubes of 2 meter edge..so 4 smaller cubes in face
Ans: 6*4=24

Total=9+28+12+36+5=90

C=3*5=15
E=5*6=30
Total=6+36+3+56+15+30=146
ENGLAND=219
