what is the value of n to make 16^41+2^7925+16^n a perfect square
Reply Like? Yes | No
MOKBUL SK   6 years ago
= 2^(4*41) +2^7925 +2^(4*n)
= 2^(164) + 2^7925 + 2^(4*n)
compare it with a^2 +2ab+b^2
= (2^82)^2 + 2*2^82 * 2^2*n + (2^2*n)^2
so, 2*2^82 * 2^2*n =2^7925
or, 2^82 * 2^2*n =2^7924
or, 2^(82+2n) =2^7924
or, 82+2n =7924
or, 2n =7842
or, n =3921.

G.S.Kantharao   7 years ago
When y is at the age of k,then x is 5k
Now y is 5k
Difference of y 's age =4k
Now x'sage is =5k+4k=9k
Now ratio of their ages=9:5
Like? Yes (1) | No (1)
Pargat Pal Singh   7 years ago
Suppose present ages of x and y are X and Y respectively.
when x was Y years old [( X-Y) years earlier), y was [Y-(X-Y)] i.e. 2Y-X years old.

As per goven statement, X= 5(2Y-X)
Then 6X=10Y
X/Y = 10/6 = 5/3

Its quite simple.
In every alphabet ,you just add +2 and then get the corresponding letter.
Q+2=T
P+2=S
S+2=V
likewise for IHK
I+2=L
H+2=K
K+2=N
so the answer is : LKN
