1. A sample poll of 200 voters revealed the following information concerning three candidates A,B and C of a certain party who were running for three different offices.

28 in favour of both A and B, 42 in favour of B not A or C, 98 in favour of AorB but not C, 122 in favour of B or C but not A, 64 in favour of C but not A or B, 14 in favour of A and C but not B.

Between year 1200 and 2000, leap century year will be 1600 (Century divisible by 400)
First leap year after 1600 is 1604.
So year of birth is 1 year after 1604 i. e. 1605.

second term 1*0 =0
third term: 2*3 =6
fourth term: 3*2 = 6
fifth term: 4*5 =20
sixth term : 5*4 =20
seventh term 6*7 = 42
Eight term 7*6 = 42

Let, initial mixture contains milk=7x and water=x
Then, quantity of remaining milk after removing 24 liters of mixture=7x - 24*(7/8)=56
56x - 168 = 448
x = 11
.'. Quantity of water in initial mixture = x = 11 liters.

Very simple 11lts.
After removing 24 lts the mixture is in the same ratio
Milk:water=7:1=56:w=>w=56*1/8=8lts
In 24 lts removed mixture=24*1/8=3lts.
So total water is 11 ltd.

Let CP=Rs. x, then Profit when SP is 1840 = (112.5/100)*Loss when SP is 1500
(1840-x) = (112.5/100)*(x-1500)
184000 - 100x = 112.5x - 168750
Solving, we get x = 1660
So, SP when profit is 20% = 1660*(120/100) = 1992 Rs.

Let x urchins gets y Euros each, when all urchins are present, then total Euros=x*y
As per given conditions, (x-5)*(y+1)=xy ⇒ x-5y=5 ---(i) and
(x+15)*(y-2)=xy ⇒ -2x+15y=30 ---(ii)
Solving above equations, we get x=45, y=8
Therefore, total number of Euros=45*8=360
