Management is a set of processes that can keep a complicated system of
people and technology running smoothly. The most important aspects of
management include planning, budgeting, organising, staffing,

every entrepreneur or business builder who was a leader, we needed
hundreds of managers to run their ever-growing enterprises.
Unfortunately for us today, this emphasis on management has often been
institutionalised in corporate cultures that discourage employees from
learning how to lead. Ironically, past success is usually the key ingredient
in producing this outcome. The syndrome, as I have observed it on many
occasions, goes like this: success creates some degree of marked
dominance which in turn produces much growth. After a while keeping
the ever-larger organisation under control becomes the primary
challenge. So attention turns inward and managerial competencies are
nurtured. With a strong emphasis on management but not leadership,
bureaucracy and an inward focus takeover. But with continued success,
the result mostly of market dominance, the problem often goes
unaddressed and an unhealthy arrogance begins to evolve. All of these
characteristics then make any transformation effort much more difficult.
Arrogant managers can over-evaluate their current performance and
competitive position, listen poorly and learn slowly. Inwardly focused
employees can have difficulty seeing the very forces that present threats
and opportunities. Bureaucratic cultures can smother those who want to
respond to shifting conditions. And the lack of leadership leaves no force
inside these organisations to break out of the morass.

so the speed of 1st train is x/4 and 2nd train x/3.5
In 2 hours 1st train covers half of the total distance .
so remaining is only half of the total distance(ie x/2).
let t be the time taken
t*x/4 + t*x/3.5 = x/2
t=14/15 i.e. 56 min

Let t be the time taken by both trains before meeting

we know
distance = speed*time
x/2 = x/4*t + x/3.5*t
Solving t = 56min

ntt conducts its online exam, on amcat.Please go through amcat syllabus.
the written exam consists of verbal,quant aptitude and also..technical section, in which most of the questions are from C,C++(synataxes) and some from data structures. written exam is followed by gd,tr &hr ..In tr,they ask questions from C++ and DS.

I had mine on 14th March at Gandhinagar. Even I have not received any mail. They said that the results will be declared once the interviews have been conducted all over India by March-end. Four tourists A,B,C,D and four languages English, German, French and Italian. They are not able to converse among themselves in one language. Though A does not know English he can act as an interpreter between B and C. No one spoke both French and German. A knows German and was able to converse with D who doesn?t know a word in German. if a person is running with 5KMPH then he can reach his destination 15 mins late
if a he runs with 10KMPH then he can reach his destination 15 mins early, to reach his destination on time, with which speed he has to run?? please answer me.Thanks

5*(t+15/60)=10*(t-15/60) where t is the original time taken
Solve to get t=45 mins
When time taken is (45+15=60 mins=1 hr), speed=5kmph
distance=5*1=5 km
So to reach the destination on time, speed=5/(45/60)=6.67 kmph
