total 13 marbles so n(s) =number of ways drawing 3 marbles out of 13= 13c3=286 let E be the event of drawing 3 balls same colour E=3 balls of 4 green and 3balls out of 5 yellow and 3 balls out of 4 white
so n(E)=4c3+5c3+4c3= 4+10+4= 18 P(E)=n(E)/n(S)=18/286= 9/143
Required probability =1-9/143=136/143 is answerr bro here formula for combination is ncr=n!/r! (n-r)! if 5! means 5*4*3*2*1 like 5c3 means n=5 and r=3 if any doubs again message me

If 1 litre of water added acid:water= x:(y+1)=20:80-->4x=y+1
If 1 litre of acid added their ratio is (x+1):y=1:3 --> 3x+3=y=4x-1--->x=4,y=15
Acid=4litres

20 years ago the age of Navya is 12 times more than Nitya. The present age of Navya is twice the age of Nitya. So what is the age of Nitya at present?

Explanation:- Let us assume Navya's present age is A
Nitya's present age is B
But now A = 2B -----> Equ1
Before 20 years back the ages are
A - 20 = 12(B - 20)
PUT A = 2B then
2B - 20 = 12B - 240
12B - 2B = -20 + 240
10B = 220
B = 22 years.

So present age of Navya is 22years.

JDear Admin
Kindly note that ín yeserday i. e on 14-2-17 puzzle answer was given as 1 54.5%.
In the solution you have wrongly calculated % profit.
It should be calculated on Cost Price which is 100.
Kindly note that %of profit or loss can be calculated on cost price only.
Why because cost price cannot be changed where as selling price can be changed.
Kindly note and rectify the answer.

There were 35 students in a hostel. Due to the admission of 7 new students, the expenses of the mess were increased by Rs.42 per day while the average expenditure per head diminished by Rs.1. What was the original expenditure of the mess?
total number of expenditure is (35+7)x12=504.
So, the answer is 504
42(y-1)-35y=42
7y=84
y=12
total number of expenditure is (35+7)x12=504.
So, the answer is 504
But, why some peopl write 420 is the answer?

It would have been easier if you had shared your current qualification. If you haven't started graduation then you can consider doing graduation in computers:
- BE/B Tech in CSE or IT
- BCA/BCS
-BSc in Computers

If you have already done graduation and looking for job then based on your interest get trained in:
- Some programming language like C/C++/Java or
-Get knowledge of Software Testing and Development

There are specialized courses on functional area's of Products like SAP, Oracle etc

CDAC is another 6 month course which you can explore, if done from top institutes under CDAC you will get placement and even good exposure from their projects.

Then after few days learn Django

For the puzzle dated "15-Dec-2016", correct answer is 5 (not 4). You have missed out 47, which by adding 27 becomes 74 and upon reversal, it comes back to 47.
Please update your post, to reflect CORRECT answer. It is expected of Admin not to make such mistakes.

The answer of "Today's Puzzle" question dated 15.12.2016 will be 5 i.e. Option 5) because 47 is also there. [74 - 47 = 27]. Make necessary correction.

Also, declare the winner's name of previous week (05th December - 09th December) after necessary correction/consideration of "Today's Puzzle" question/answer/marks dated 06th December.

)Two poles out of which the second pole is 3 times high the first poles are standing opposite each other on either side of the road, which is 60 m wide. From a point between them on the road, the angles of elevation of the top of the first and second poles are 60 degree and 30 degree respectively. What are the height of the second pole and the distance of the point on the ground from the first pole respectively?
