2 pots are there.1st pot is filled with ink and 2nd pot is filled with water.take 1 spoon of ink from 1st pot and pore it in 2nd pot.and take 1 spoon of mixture from 2nd pot and pore it in 2nd pot then which one of following is true?

for example if there is 2 spoon ink in 1st pot.and second also have 2 spoon water.
after dat 1 spoon of ink will mixd with wtaer nd further 1 spoon of mixture will mix with 1st pot ink
then the ratio will be the same.

For your information there was no verbal aptitude conducted by TCS in SASTRA.But there was a verbal round in which we have to write a mail by using sets of words given by them.(duration 10 mins, 10 sets of words , minimum numbers of words in mail that we create must be 70)

let the peter age= x and paul age = y
peters age z years back= x-z
pauls age z years back = y-z

"The sum of their ages is 35 years"
x+y=35;

"Peter is twice as old as Paul was when Peter was as old as Paul is now".
That was z years ago, so z years ago, Peter was x - z, and that is the age Paul
is now, so

x - z = y

But Paul was y - z then

We are told that Peter is now twice that (Paul's age then), so

x = 2(y - z)
x = 2y - 2z

so the equations are,
x + y = 35
x - z = y
x = 2y - 2z
solving above 3 equations we get peter age= 20;

Actually the question is like "What is the remainder when 17^6+6^17 is divided by 7?"
there is no way to find 6^17 or else...as the value is too large to be find,such questions can be solved by tricks nly

solution:
6^17mod7
=(7-1)^17 mod 7
=(-1)^17mod7
=-1
now,17^6mod7
=(7*2+3)^6mod7
=3^6 mod7
=729mod7
=1
the remainder when 6^17+17^6 divided by 7 is 1-1=0
