as we have to fina the value of c we will write all the above equations in terms of c .

so
d=c+11
a=(d+11)+23=c+34
b=(c+34)+5=c+39

average of all is 22
so
a+b+c+d=22*4

now substituting values we get
c=1

you can analyse from the question that c is the smallest no. in all four of them
so assume c as x

let c=x
d=x+11
a=d+23=x+11+23=x+34
b=a+5= x+34+5=x+39

avg=(a+b+c+d)/4=22
avg=(x+x+11+x+34+x+39)/4=22
4x+84=88
4x=4
x=1
therefore c=1
d=12
a=35
b=40

hundreds will have 8
but thousands will have 7( coz 0 at thousands place will make a 4 digit number 3 digit one).

since mentioned jake is faster than paul their speed are inequal looking at the options we can divide 7km/h into 4 and 3
so more is 4 4 is answer
verification is
jake .... d=24km
s1=4km/h(according to our assumption)
t1=6hr

similarly for paul
d=24km
s2=3km/h
t2=8hr
sum of their times =14hr

=f(a(ax+b)+b)
=a(a(ax+b)+b)+b
=a(a^2x+ab+b)+b
=a^3x+a^2b+ab+b = 6x+8
compare coefficient of x and constant term.
this will give the values of a and b.
for sure, a and b will not have integral values.

How many 3-digit numbers have even number of factors?
here
In 100 to 999 there are are only 900 3-digit numbers.. That is why we should substrat that 22 from 900.. So,answer is 900-22=878..

see these numbers-> 28,30and 31 and no of days in the months of the year, which sums up to 365. so a,b,c represent number of days with 28,30 and 31 days in it so a=1,b=4,c=7 and a+b+c=12

lly use 2'o clock
90=30*2- 11m/2

PLZ GIVE THE ANS FOR THIS QUES: A prime number (or a prime) is a natural number greater than 1 that can only be divided by 1 and itself.
Ex-First few Prime number are-
2, 3, 5, 7, 11, 13, 17, 19,...
A digit prime is a prime number whose sum of digits is also prime.
For example the prime number 23 is a digit prime because 2+3=5 and 5 is a prime number. 17 is not a digit prime because 1+7 = 8, and 8 is not a prime number. Write a program to find out the number of digit primes within a certain range less than 1000000.and also print the Mth digit prime number between the range.

12 is the answer.
to divide a cube into 27 pieces,on every face of this cube draw 3 lines vertically and 3 lines horizontally. on every face'one will see 9 squares,by cutting along every line drawn on this cube one will obtain 27 pieces.
as the cube is painted,so the every corner piece has its 3 sides painted and total corner pieces are 8
so 27-8=19
piece in the center of every face has only one face painted,so total of these pieces is 6
so 19-6=13
piece in the center of the cube (at the center of diagonal)
has no face painted
so 13-1=12
one can also find out the answer by examining any cube

there are 27 pieces hence the cube is cut in 3*3
for two side painted concider oly corner cubes,
there are 12 corner cubes hence ans is 12.
(OR)
USE FORMULA : 12*(n-2) [ here n=3 ]
