bcozzz already A+A=E... So definitely A+A should not be equal to N (Since no 2 alphabets can have the same value... So N=A+A+1. ie previous sum should produce a remainder) So N+V should produce a carry... So A+A+1=N... (ie N=E+1)... Now we have to assign a value for V to get a carry... Already we have assigned E=2... So N=E+1 => N=3...
N+V>=10 ie 3+V>=10.. Possible values of (N,V) are (3,7)(3,8)(3,9)... First I took V=7 nd proceed... It produces unique values for all the alphabets... If its not, I should againg follow trial nd error method nd ll assign a different value for V... like 8,9...
