Ratio of SI ll be => 3x/5 : 6y/5 : 9z/5
=> 3x : 6y : 9z
Ratio of SI of 3 schemes => x : 2y : 3z
Given he gets the same interest on all the schemes ... So x=2y=3z
x = 3z
y = 3z/2
z = z
Ratio of their investments ll be => 3z : 3z/2 : z
=> 6z : 3z : 2z
Ans : 6 : 3 : 2

trains a and b are travelling on the same route..heading towards the same direction.train b has already covered a distance of 220 kmbefore the train a started.the two trains met each other after 11 houra after the starting of train a. had the train travelling towards each other from a distance of 220 km then they would have met after 1 hour.now what is the speed of train a and b?

i cannt find the answer. in first sentence they have given that two trains are in same route and one heading another. if two trains are in same route the how come we add the speed

Let the speed of a and b be ‘a’ and ‘b’
In 1st case a and b are travelling in same direction. So relative speed is (a-b)
Distance travelled by a before meeting = speed*time
=11a
Distance travelled by b before meeting = speed*time
= 220+11*b
11a = 220+11b
a = 20+b
a-b = 20 ---(1)
In 2nd case and b are travelling in opposite directions towards each other. So relative speed is (a+b).
Speed = (a+b)
Distance = 220
Time = 1hr
Distance = speed*time
220 = (a+b)*1
a+b = 220 ---(2)
solving eqn (1) and (2)
a = 120km/hr
b= 100km/hr

How many six digit numbers can be formed using digits 1 to 6, without repetition such that the number is divisible by digit at its unit place.

The number to be divisible by 1 i.e total no. would be !6.
For number to be divisible by 2 unit digit will be 2/4/6.So choose any 1 out of 3 i.e. 3c1 and the total no.
would be !5*3c1.
For numbers to be divisible by 3 ,sum of digits should be divisible by 3.As you can see sum of digits would be 21
which is divisible by 3.Hence total numbers would be !6.
For number to be divisible by 4 last two digits sum should be divisible by 4 i.e.
1+3=4
2+6=8
3+1=4
3+5=8
5+3=8
6+2=8
Total 6 possibilities i.e 6p2
and the total numbers would be !4*6p2.
For numbers to be divisible by 5 unit place should be 5.So
total numbers would be !5*1
For numbers to be divisible by 6 ,it has to be divisible by 2 and 3.So the total numbers would be
same as the total no. divisible by 2 and the sum of all digits is already 21 i.e !5*3c1.
Now after solving all the permutations and combinations add the results,you will get the required result.
