The assumption that sum of amount spent = sum of balances is incorrect.
Assume you have 10 Rs and you spend 1 Rs. each day

Spend 1 Balance 9
Spend 1 Balance 8
Spend 1 Balance 7
Spend 1 Balance 6

Spend 1 Balance 4
Spend 1 Balance 3
Spend 1 Balance 2

Spend Total = 10, Balance Total = 9+8+7+....+1 = 45
As per question you are trying to say 10 = 45

Hence proved that there is no such rule where sum of balance should be equal to sum of money spend. This question not as per mathematical logic and rules.

use this farmula only for any train releted question
(l*18)/(t*5)=speed
l (lenth) always in meter (add lenth if two lenth of given like train lenth and plateform lenth)
t (time) always in second
speed always in kilometer ( add if two train in going to same direction otherwise subtract)

80% to 90% of question will solve this formula
