Every odd number (other than 1) can be written in the form of difference of square of two specific whole numbers.e.g.

3=2²-1¹
5=3²-2²
7=4²-3²
9=5²-4²
And so on....

Generalisation...

(2*n+1)=(n+1)²-n² ...for n>=1, where n is a natural number.

Generalisation....
